Wheels for Long Distance Pumping (LDP) is all about wheel performance - roll speed, premium urethane, wheel size, duro and wheel core. So much development goes into these wheels to make sure energy return is maximised. It is not always about the longest roll speed, you need to know your terrain and style. A McFly Pro is one of the fastest wheels but not the best on a rough road, a standard McFly is softer and more forgiving. You sacrifice some speed but gain more enjoyment.
