How long have you been skating?
Started in 85, faded away end of 92, rare rolls through the dark days, returned full time 04.

Any skate heros when you were growing up?
Hawk, Hosoi, Mountain, Chris Borst, Underhill, Gonz, Lee Ralph

Do you remember your first board - how long did it last?
My very first was a christmas present before I got into it, the whole family got one each, a cheap and nasty copy of a Logan board with Fake Bennet rip offs but it had Sims Snakes. Years later I remember watching this show on thursdays at 4pm channel 10 and Dave Mock did this how to section, so I PVA glued sandpaper for grip tape on it. Lets just say it didnt work out too well. It lasted 3 years until i got something more functional, a US PRO 90 ( I thought i was getting a variflex Voodoo, sales people talked the oldies into this).

What terrain do you skate? pools, parks, ramps?
All types of Curves!!!



Favourite skate park?
Past: Rivers Edge, thinking about it now, the bowl was before its time, he was clever ole man Searle. Today: too many to enjoy and the list will grow.

Current board set up? (what are you skating) Is your ramp board different to park board?
For a Vert Ramp Pocket Pistols 8.25, the ultimate length to wheel base set up for its purpose.
My all round board that sits in the car has to be an 8.125, I'm a board slut in this department, but if it has 14.5 or more wheelbase, i will ride it.
It all started with this gem of a Lucero from Black Label, I found with the ole schmitt stix graphic which served me well thru winter and got me hooked on 8.125's. Favourite for a while has been Bacon's Benji model ( which actually doubled as a sweet vert board) and this week a toss up between Sam Hitz Creature or Matt French PPS.
All on 149 indy's and Rainskates to suite the situation.
I still have an 8.5 PPS set up for Frankston with 169's especially for her.
The quiver is huge out in the shed, even I get surprised when I see what else is my rolling stock.

If you had one day left to skate, where would you go, what would you skate?
Straight to Ramona, Be there for a Rumble, enjoy that private Vert Sesh.
